CUNY SPS Debuts 2025 Issue of Voices, Newly Renamed School Magazine

CUNY SPS 2025 Magazine Front Cover

The CUNY School of Professional Studies (CUNY SPS) has released the 2025 edition of its annual magazine —now newly renamed Voices: The Magazine of the CUNY School of Professional Studies—and made it available online.

The new title, selected by members of the CUNY SPS community through a School-wide naming contest held last spring, reflects the School’s commitment to highlighting the diverse stories, experiences, and accomplishments that define its vibrant community.

“As a School devoted to helping busy working adults achieve their educational goals, it is deeply rewarding to learn more about the collective and individual achievements within our community,” said Prerna Dar, Chief Marketing Officer. “This year’s issue, now renamed Voices, beautifully captures our focus on the people and stories that define CUNY SPS, and signals an exciting new moment in the School’s evolution. I invite everyone to spend some time reading this issue and discover what makes CUNY SPS so extraordinary.”

Published annually by the School’s Office of Marketing, Communications, and Events, the CUNY SPS Magazine features stories and updates highlighting news, accomplishments, and projects from our community over the past year.

With Voices as its new title and theme, the 2025 issue showcases some of the School’s exceptional faculty, students, staff, and alumni and the ways that they are redefining scholarship, research, and their own personal and professional lives.

Here are a few highlights from this issue:
